• Step 1: The park is still in the process of development and don’t forget the park is closed during the weekend so this walk is perfect for a midweek stroll. Bring your lunch or a picnic.

• 

  Step 2: This walk starts at the end of Canvey Rd where there’s also a small car park. There’s a bus stop on Creek Rd. Enter through the gates.

• 

  Step 3: There’s also handy bike racks just inside the gates.

• 

  Step 4: This walk is pretty straight forward, slightly uphill with a gravely park. Buggies and some wheelchairs may enjoy a moderately bumpy ride.

• 

  Step 5: Follow the path ahead. It winds slightly to the right and then goes uphill. Keep your eyes out for seabirds and birds of prey.

• Step 6: The Country Park is part of a Greengrid project which has transformed an old landfill site previously known as Newlands.
