• Step 1: This walk is curated in partnership with Essex County Council and Castle Point Borough Council.

• Step 2: This walk contains steps, uneven and potentially slippery surfaces so please do take care and walk on the landward side of the seawall if more suited to you. Remember to check the tide times in advance of your walk too.

• 

  Step 3: Start at the Eastern Esplanade car park and head up towards the sea wall. There are steps and ramps along here to get up. Toilets here too.

• Step 4: You can also get here by bus from Benfleet Station. Head to Stop A at the railway station and catch the 21C towards Canvey. Get off at Casino stop and head up and over the sea wall. 👌

• 

  Step 5: This beautiful view awaits from Canvey Island sea front 😍 Head right onto the beach or right along the path next to the blue sea wall

• 

  Step 6: There are lots of gorgeous murals on the sea wall depicting the history and clubs of the island. 🎨
