• 

  Step 1: This route starts outside the post office and Co-op on the B3139 by the bus stop for route 173.

• 

  Step 2: Cross the main road when safe to do so and head down Bakers Lane on the left hand pavement.

• 

  Step 3: Cross the side road of Sheppards Walk and continue ahead for a short distance.

• 

  Step 4: Turn left onto a narrow footpath by a fingerpost sign between a wooden fence and an electricity building.

• 

  Step 5: Head gently downhill between the garden fences.

• 

  Step 6: Emerge onto Station Mead, the site of the old Chilcompton Station. Cross the road onto the grass on the opposite side.
