• 

  Step 1: Welcome to Kirkstall Forge station! Our walk begins here. There’s half-hourly rail service between Leeds and Bradford Forster Square.

• 

  Step 2: At the station, take the staircase or lift over the tracks, following the signs for trains to Shipley and Bradford. No ticket required.

• 

  Step 3: About halfway down the opposite platform, take the ramp off to the left to exit the station.

• 

  Step 4: At the bottom of the ramp, continue straight through the gate.

• 

  Step 5: The fingerpost has many destinations! You're going left, towards the Leeds & Liverpool canal.

• 

  Step 6: The path here is wide and paved, a lovely stretch of quiet greenery.
