  Step 1: Welcome to the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. This truly is a hidden gem in Cambridge. It’s gorgeous!

• Step 2: This walk will take you on a little stroll around the edge of the gardens. We’ll start in the northeast corner, just off Bateman Street and Trumpington Road. There’s a bus stop nearby, and it’s easy to access by bike or scooter.

• Step 3: The garden is open from 10am year-round. It’s open till 4pm, 5pm, or 6pm, depending on the time of year. Admission is £7.50 per adult and children up to 16 are free. Up to date information can be found on the website.

  Step 4: When you’re ready, let’s head out. Walk down the main paved path towards the main gardens.

  Step 5: You’ll see lots of different plant and bug life today. Take your time exploring, and be ready to stop frequently!

  Step 6: At the first path junction, turn right.
