• 

  Step 1: The walk starts and ends at the cotton reels bench on the corner of Queen Ann Road and Goulter Street. The nearest bus stop is Church St.

• 

  Step 2: The benches are engraved with dates and facts about the factory. Take some time to look around the bench and reels.

• 

  Step 3: Looking towards the left-hand side of Goulter Street is the former site of Eagle Coaches.

• 

  Step 4: Head down Goulter Street, pausing when you reach Holmes Street on your right.

• 

  Step 5: Stop at the end of Goulter St by Salisbury St. The large brick building across the the road is the former Barton Hill Adult School.

• 

  Step 6: To your left are the former sites of Prices Bakery and the back of Maze Street (St. Luke’s) School. Turn right into Salisbury Street.
