  Step 1: Start from the entrance to Castle Gardens near Trinity Hospital, on The Newark

• 

  Step 2: Take the path on the left into Castle Gardens

• 

  Step 3: Follow the twists and turns of the path

• 

  Step 4: As you take a left, the bridge will appear in the distance, with some benches looking over the river on your left

• 

  Step 5: Turn left to cross over the bridge

• 

  Step 6: You are now walking over the River Soar - if you’re lucky you might spot some swans.
