• Step 1: The walk begins here on Chapel Pill Lane.

• Step 2: Continue along the road until you get to Ham Green Lake.

  Step 3: Ham Green Lake is owned & run by the local Ham Green Fishing Club.

• Step 4: The road nearby dates back to the Roman Empire. The water from the lake was used to supply Ham Green Hospital, which is notable for treating soldiers injured in the Crimea War.

• 

  Step 5: You’ll reach this gate, which marks the entrance to the Pill Path.

• Step 6: Continue following the path as it bends to the left & right.
