  Step 1: Starting at the car park beside the River Derg in the centre of the village.

• Step 2: Please take care as this is a walk using country roads and traffic may not be expecting to see you. This walk will take you out to the village to Crew Bridge, over the River Derg and back to Ardstraw.

• 

  Step 3: Continue along Camkenny Road.

• 

  Step 4: Check out the hedgerows, they change throughout the year as the flowers change to show the berries.

• 

  Step 5: If you look to the left beside the grey wall you might see a metal object with a lions head. Do you know what it might have been?

• Step 6: This was most probably a water pump which would have been used in the past for drinking water.
