Step 1: Start at the community centre and walk up the Douglas Road keeping the community centre on your right
Step 2: This centre along with the adjoining children’s playground was opened in 2002 by her Grace the late Duchess of Abercorn. The centre was built on the site of two former scutchers’ cottages.
Step 3: Almost immediately take left onto Camus Road
Step 4: The road hugs the stream as it heads towards the Sperrin Mountains.
Step 5: The main activity around Douglas Bridge is farming of cattle and sheep.
Step 6: Take left onto Knock Road down the hill
