  Step 1: Wire Mill Dam is located just off Whiteley Wood Road.

  Step 2: The path around the dam leads to Thomas Boulsover Memorial. Inventor of Sheffield Plate in the 18th century.

  Step 3: Follow the tarmac path.

• 

  Step 4: Stay on the tarmac with Wire Mill Goit to the left and Porter Brook down to the right.

• 

  Step 5: Where the footpath meets a road take the bridleway to the left.

• 

  Step 6: Continue on the bridleway.
