• 

  Step 1: Tockholes, lots of woodland to explore.

• Step 2: Start at the Tockholes visitor centre car park - Tockholes Road, Darwen, BB3 0PA. From there cross the road through the gate and into the woods.

• Step 3: From here you can go in any direction through the woods. I tend to go right at the first fork, this takes you down towards the reservoir.

• Step 4: You can then follow it back up through the woods, or explore different paths.

  Step 6: Make sure to take wellies if it’s been wet. It can be muddy in parts.
