• Step 1: This walk is an alternative to the Albert Park research walk which is being used by the Auckland University of Technology to study how walking environments might influence walking experiences. This walk contains no questions.

  Step 2: This walk starts from Wellesley St East to Princes St through Albert Park. Start at the AUT purple sign.

• 

  Step 3: Your starting point is the footbridge to the overpass over Wellesley Street, East. You will experience a slight incline at the start.

• 

  Step 4: Continue along the overpass to Albert Park on the wide, flat bridge.

• 

  Step 5: Once you cross the overpass, you will see a large tree ahead and a tarmac path.

• 

  Step 6: Turn left onto the tarmac path to enter Albert Park.
