• Step 1: This walk is an alternative to the Princes Street research walk which is being used by the Auckland University of Technology to study how walking environments might influence walking experiences. This walk contains no questions.

  Step 2: This walk starts from Wellesley St East and heads along Princes St, alongside Albert Park. Start at the AUT purple sign.

• 

  Step 3: Use zebra crossing, close to the AUT purple sign, and head across Wellesley Street East.

• 

  Step 4: Continue across the pedestrian crossings to get to the other side of Wellesley Street East.

• 

  Step 5: Veer slight right to head onto Princes Street on its left hand footpath.

• 

  Step 6: Head along the flat tarmac footpath on Princes Street. You will experience a slight incline.
