Step 1: Welcome to Section 8 of the Viking Way! The Viking Way is a whopping 149 mile walking route through Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Step 2: The Viking Way was opened in 1976. Its name recognises the influence of the Norse invaders on the east of Britain.
Step 3: The Walk and Ride Lincoln Circular stops on Minster Yard and nearby Westgate. Alternatively the Lincoln Hotel stop on Northgate is close by. It serves buses 7, 8, 10, 11A, 12, 17, 44, 103, 354 and the Walk and Ride.
