• Step 2: We would like to thank the East End Women's Museum and Go Jauntly for support in the curation of this route.

• Step 3: The walk starts at Barking Station which is on the Suffragette line which was formerly known as the Overground line. Take the train there to begin the walk.

• 

  Step 4: Exit Barking Station and turn right to head down the Station Parade.

• 

  Step 5: Cross over Cambridge Road using the zebra crossing and continue along Station Parade.

• 

  Step 6: Continue along the pedestrianised East Street, which includes this street market.
