Step 1: Welcome to this riverside walk from Rotherhithe Overground station. Exit the station and turn left to walk along Brunel Road.
Step 2: Turn left onto Railway Avenue. There’s a handy fingerpost here pointing towards the Thames Path and Brunel Museum.
Step 3: The Thames Path is a long distance walking trail, following England’s best known river for 185.2miles (298 km) as it meanders from its source in the Cotswolds through several rural counties and on into the heart of London.
Step 4: There’s a water fountain on your right here, a great place to refill your water bottle before setting off on this walk.
Step 5: Continue following Railway Avenue. Notice the rail themed murals on your left hand side as you go.
Step 6: Railway Avenue is home to some lovely pockets of nature. We spotted tulips whilst on this walk. 🌷
