Step 1: The walk starts by the bus stop for the 404 / the free car park. Head to the Harbour Lights Gallery to fill your cultural boots.

Step 2: Then head right towards the coastline. You'll pass the public toilets (inc accessible with radar key) and the fab Counting House.

Step 3: Thoroughly recommend an ice cream here. This was orange and caramel and quite frankly incredible.

Step 4: The big shed ahead of you was a former brick-making shed, with bricks manufactured from waste from the nearby slate quarries.

Step 5: These days the harbour's industry is a mix of primary (fishing) and tertiary (tourism).

Step 6: At the harbourside, continue ahead. The harbour was originally built to transport local slate, some of which arrived via a tramway.
