  Step 1: This walk starts at the beach car park in Abereiddy. There is seasonal ice cream and snack van here plus toilets behind the beach.

• 

  Step 2: Looking at the beach, head right across some large stepping stones.

• 

  Step 3: To your right are ruins of houses - these were built for the quarry workers from the slate mining industry.

• 

  Step 4: Head up the steps.

• 

  Step 5: Then turn left on the tarmac path.

• 

  Step 6: Head through the gate and go straight ahead.
