  Step 1: Park in Gills Lap. During the summer months there’s a north car park just around the corner too. Walk passed the pine trees to the start.

• Step 2: Gill’s Lap inspired Galleon’s Lap in the Winnie-the-Pooh books. Did you know that “Hundred Acre Wood" is really a five hundred acre wood. This walk passes by some Pooh-tastic hotspots.

• Step 3: Another fact coming up... The first Winnie-the-Pooh book was published over 90 years ago. The simple tales of Pooh and friends’ adventures in the woods have been a firm fave for young children (and their parents) ever since.
