  Step 1: If you’ve travelled to Pencaitland by bus you can get off at the Beech Terrace stop just before the village centre and walk east.

• 

  Step 2: You’ll reach the village centre with the fuel station to your left. Pop in for some friendly service and refreshments before you set off

• 

  Step 3: Local shop and fuel station

• 

  Step 4: Walk next to the beautiful Trevelyan Hall used as a community centre in the village

• 

  Step 5: Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing towards the Pencaitland Cross

• 

  Step 6: Pause a moment an read about some local history
