Step 1: Welcome to this circular walk around Nowton Park. The 172 acres you see today is a former country estate, with much of the landscape having been created over 100 years ago.
Step 2: Park Gates is the nearest bus stop to Nowton Park. This is located on Nowton Road. There is also pay and display parking here.
Step 3: We’re beginning this walk at the Visitors Centre. There is a cafe here, as well as toilets, baby change and wheelchair friendly toilets too.
Step 4: Take the flat gravel path to the left of the building.
Step 5: Heading over the small humpback footbridge.
Step 6: Turn right onto Lime Avenue. It’s one of the most impressive in the UK no matter the season.
