Step 1: This walk starts at the car park just before the beach. We couldn’t see any disabled parking here but there is a space by the beach too.
Step 2: Toilets were temporarily located in the car park in June 22. This is a linear walk to the National Trust bird hide. Exit the car park and head towards the sea.
Step 3: We noticed there is no drop kerb as you exit the car park so you may have to go onto the road for a little bit.
Step 4: … there is a drop kerb about 10 metres up the road where you can return to the footway which is flat but downhill.
Step 5: Can you see the sea yet? Look out for a side road coming up where you’ll have to navigate a poorly designed drop kerb if you’re on wheels.
Step 6: Loop around the side road to go up the kerb. Continue past the defibrillator and post box on your right.
