Step 1: Start at the small parking area near the castle. Resist the urge to explore the castle and walk away towards the dairy/phonebox and go right
Step 2: This will take you down a bridle way towards the woods. We met some goats on the road but I’m guessing they weren’t meant to be there!
Step 3: This path would be very boggy in periods of rain so wear good boots
Step 4: The path goes through a very peaceful woods
Step 5: And crosses a stream several times
Step 6: With many different types of footbridge
