  Step 1: Get off the bus here, or there's a car park down the left turn you can see.

• 

  Step 2: There's some weird wildlife peering over the fence.

• 

  Step 3: If you want to do the walk clockwise, this is where you start. Or carry on out of town until it's safe to cross the main road.

• 

  Step 4: A lot of water in the river due to all that winter rain.

• 

  Step 5: This is where you turn off right onto the path along the canal feeder. There's a car park down that road too.

• 

  Step 6: Some oak apples made by a gall wasp. Looking brown and dry now, but when they first form they really do look like miniature apples.
