• 

  Step 1: This walk starts at the main entrance to University Hospital Wishaw.

• Step 2: Come out of the hospital and turn left, taking care as you cross the road at the zebra crossing.

• 

  Step 3: As you head along the path there’s an entrance to King George V park on your right. Turn into the park here.

• 

  Step 4: From here you’re following the running track round the edge of the park. There’s lots to look out for though with plenty of mature trees.

• 

  Step 5: You can take a wee break on one of the benches along the way.

• 

  Step 6: Maybe take five minutes to visit the community garden. There is an orchard, fruit bushes, strawberries and other herbs and veggies growing,
