  Step 1: Welcome to this circular walk around King Edward Park. It starts at the entrance on Carlton Road, opposite Clarence Street.

• Step 2: The closest public transport to the start of this walk is St Chads Road stop on Carlton Road. Buses 24, 25, 26 and 27 all stop here.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the flat, wide, tarmac path ahead. We’re going to take in some of the open green space and nature located here.

• 

  Step 4: There’s a large children’s playground on the right here.

• 

  Step 5: On the left we spotted a greenhouse and some reclaimed wooden planters. We wonder what’s growing here.

• 

  Step 6: Keep following the path as it bears round to the right. It begins to go slightly uphill from here.
