Step 1: Welcome to the Southend-on-Sea Golden Anniversary Heritage Trail 2002. Start at St Mary’s Church
Step 2: There are plaque markers along the ground that will help to guide your way.
Step 3: From St Mary's Church, Prittlewell turn left from the lych gate and cross East Street opposite the Blue Boar pub
Step 4: The Blue Boar is home of Southend United Supporters Club if you want to pop in.
Step 5: Otherwise continue ahead and enter Churchill Gardens - make sure that you find all three plaques near here.
Step 6: Walk through the gardens, previously a brickworks pit, by following the plaques on the ground.
