Step 1: We woke up early and drove down to the seaside on a sunny day in April. The thought of ice cream and chips by the sea was enough motivation.
Step 2: We parked 🚗 close to the sea front. Great access for those with little ones.
Step 3: Before we made it onto the beach, our two year old discovered this adventure playground.
Step 4: Probably the best view of any playground I have been to recently.
Step 5: Hastings beach is mostly stones, but when the tide is out there is some lovely sand to play in. We rushed like crabs down to the sand.
Step 6: We built sandcastles (kinda), found a little crab 🦀 and ‘plopped’ (as he likes to call it) stones into the sea. The sea was coooold 😂.
