From High Mill to Cauldron Gill

• 

  Step 1: Our walk starts at the front of the High Mill site on Chapel Street.

• 

  Step 2: Take a wee detour in front of the house to spend some time amongst nature in the quiet garden maintained by volunteers.

• 

  Step 3: You can join them most Saturday mornings, but don’t upset them or you could be locked in the jail in the bottom of the house!!!

• 

  Step 4: Walk round the fencing protecting the mill remains and past the polytunnels and tool cabins.

• 

  Step 5: There’s a gate that leads you across a path towards Moor Park.

• 

  Step 6: There’s a path into the park between the fence and the beech hedge, looking magnificent in its autumn colours.
