  Step 1: From the Parade car park head east, through the tunnel that cuts under the town walls. Nearest bus stop is Chapel St for routes 32 and 235.

  Step 2: Truth right into Flagstaff Park.

  Step 3: The path is tarmac, perfect for pushchairs, wheelchairs, bike and scooters.

• 

  Step 4: You'll have a great view of the town walls on this walk!

• 

  Step 5: You'll come to a fork in the path, head right to go to the rose garden; stay left to bypass it.

• 

  Step 6: The entrance to the garden is framed by a beautiful arch.
