  Step 1: Park at the Park Road Pay and Display Car Park and walk down to the rose garden at the bottom entrance.

• 

  Step 2: With the rose garden on your right and the Sakura blossoms of Northwood house on your left, walk towards Union Street

• 

  Step 3: Walk down Union road, where elegant Georgian town houses built for wealthy 19th-century merchants and naval officers line the road.

• 

  Step 4: Take the right fork down Sun Hill and look out for your first glimpses of the sea.

• 

  Step 5: At the High Street T-junction, turn left and enjoy the shops and eateries along the pedestrianised road.

• 

  Step 6: Look out for fun post box toppers
