  Step 1: This walk starts on Conham Road, heading through Conham River Car Park. There is a picnic area to the left.

• 

  Step 2: There are public toilets here, including an accessible one.

• 

  Step 3: Head straight down towards the river and through the wooden gate. There is bicycle parking on the car park side of the gate.

• 

  Step 4: Follow the flat tarmac path as it bends left along the River Avon. There is an off-road route across the grass straight towards the river.

• 

  Step 5: It's a lovely spot. The Avon's source is near the village of Acton Turville in South Gloucestershire. It ends in the Bristol Channel.

• 

  Step 6: Walk with the river on your right on the wide compacted path. There may be some loose small rocks.
