Step 1: This walk is an alternative to the Calke Treesfest Walk which is being used by researchers at the University of Derby to study how nature walks help wellbeing. This walk contains no questions related to the study.
Step 2: Taking part involves answering a few questions before and after your walk. If you wish to take part, please go to the Calke Treefest Walk via the link at the start of the walk or search in-app.
Step 3: Your walk starts here at the National Trust car park. Postcode: LE65 1RR. Head down the path to the right.
Step 4: The car park is pay & display, costing £3.50 for up to 4 hours. If you’re a National Trust member parking is free. All money raise through parking goes back into caring for the parkland.
Step 5: Simply head down, you’ll need to turn left at the bottom to avoid a swim.
