Step 1: Start this walk at Brockley Station which is on the Windrush line and accessible via other Thameslink services. Walk this on a Saturday to enjoy Brockley Market at the end which is open 10am - 2pm.
Step 2: Exit the station and turn left to walk down and through the community garden. Take a moment to decompress from your train or bus trip.
Step 3: Brockley Station community garden is looked after by Brockley Cross Action Group who were established in 2000. The garden was designed in 2010 by local volunteers. Admire the planting as you wander down the ramp.
Step 4: At the bottom of the ramp, you’ll find cafes with toilets and outdoor seating.
Step 5: During Covid, Coulgate St had a temporary road closure which is now permanent. It has had a positive impact on the gardens, biodiversity and the community experience for people visiting or passing through the area.
Step 6: Continue to the end of Coulgate Street and turn right onto Foxberry Road.
