Step 1: This walk begins at Bingley, just a short train journey from Leeds.
Step 2: Bingley is a “Walkers are Welcome” town, so has lots of rambler and family-friendly amenities if you fancy a little wander around. There are some public loos next to the Town Square.
Step 3: To start your jaunt you’ll want to head right out of the station and turn right at the road, crossing the bridge over the railway.
Step 4: You will see a sign for the canal. Follow the road up the hill, passing the church.
Step 5: Take a left down Hill Side Road and follow the footpath at the end. This leads down to the canal.
Step 6: You’ll join the Leeds and Liverpool canal at the Three Rise locks, which were built way back in 1774.
