  Step 1: From Bakewell town centre, cross the bridge and bear right to head up Station Road.

• 

  Step 2: Take a right up Handley Lane. You will see Bakewell Station & the Monsal Trail down below on the left.

• 

  Step 3: Keep following this lane...

• 

  Step 4: You will pass the golf course.

• 

  Step 5: It’s uphill but not too steep. On your right is Manners Wood.

• 

  Step 6: You can take the path through the woods, but as it was wet and muddy we decided to stick with the road.
