  Step 1: Your walk to Arrowe Country Park begins at the Arrowe Park/ Landican Cemetery bus stop on Arrowe Park Road. This route is step-free.

• 

  Step 2: With the bus stop on your left, head along the pavement towards the trees.

• 

  Step 3: If you look to the left, you’ll see the ornate gates leading to the Landican Cemetery. It was opened in 1934.

• 

  Step 4: Continue along the pavement next to the sandstone wall.

• Step 5: You’ll see lots of sandstone walls across the Wirral. Most of the stone dates back to 200-250 million years. Some of the local stone from nearby Storeton quarry was used to clad the Empire State Building in New York!

• 

  Step 6: As you reach the traffic lights, follow the pavement around to the right.
