• Step 1: This walk starts by the playground at the junction of Bull Lane and Playstool Road. The nearest bus stop is Station Road served by the 326, 327, 328 and numerous 372 routes. The closest train station is Newington.

• 

  Step 2: With your back to the playground, turn right to walk along Bull Lane. Cross Playstool Road and continue on Bull Lane.

• 

  Step 3: Shortly after the junction with Playstool Road, take the tarmac footpath on your right between the houses.

• 

  Step 4: At the end of the footpath, you will come to Pear Tree Walk garages.

• 

  Step 5: Turn left on the footpath just after the garages, before you come to the houses.

• 

  Step 6: Follow the tarmac path as it passes to the left of the houses. Continue straight ahead.
