• Step 1: This walk starts to the north of Newington. The closest train station is Newington. The High Street is also served by buses including the 326, 327, 328 and 372.

  Step 2: From the offset crossroads at the bottom of Church Lane, take School Lane - on the left here.

• 

  Step 3: Continue past Newington Primary School on your left.

• 

  Step 4: After the school, where the road splits, take the left-hand fork.

• 

  Step 5: Continue with caution along this country lane as there is no footpath here. You’ll be heading uphill.

• 

  Step 6: You will pass horse stables and paddocks on your right.
