  Step 1: Start from the Virginia Water cafe entrance to the park and turn right, passing the picnic tables on the right.

• 

  Step 2: Continue to follow the tarmac path, heading more or less straight, with the lake on your left, until you reach Wick Pond.

• 

  Step 3: Glimpses between the trees of the lake.

• 

  Step 4: Turn left in front of the pond, following the path, and take the right fork towards the totem pole.

• 

  Step 5: Walk around the fence surrounding the totem pole until you reach the avenue that all the faces on the totem pole are turned towards.

• 

  Step 6: The totem pole was given as a gift to the Queen from Canada.
