  • Step 3: You will see in front of you a big rotunda of grass. Be aware if you have young children with you that it does drop off on some parts off the edge with stone walls, so you may want to scope it out before giving them free rein.

  • Step 4: There are picnic tables by the swings and they can be a good place from which to keep an eye on both the grass and the swings if you have kids along who have chosen different entertainment.

  • On your way down the right hand side of the park the pedestrian-only cut-through from past the bus stop meets up with the path you are on.

  • By now you will see the water and lovely reeds, and if you are lucky maybe some ducks and moorhens. The are some handy dandy benches here.
