  Step 1: Begin at the Waterfront pub on the riverside next to Wandsworth Bridge. This is a lovely pub with good food, games and an outdoor terrace.

• 

  Step 2: Walk along the river. This area has a rich industrial history. A gin distillery, brewery and glove factory have all stood here.

• 

  Step 3: Continue to Plantation Wharf. For nearly 100 years this was the site of a sugar refinery. It was famous for the nasty smells it produced!

• 

  Step 4: On your left you will come across the Plantation Wharf Pier, where you can catch a river boat to various places across London.

• 

  Step 5: Continue along the river path until you reach London's only heliport. You can often see helicopters landing and taking off here.

• 

  Step 6: Turn right at the restaraunt and walk to the end of the road. This was once part of Price's Candle Factory, but the site was bombed in WW2.
