  Step 1: Start at Wyming Brook car park. Bus number 51 stops at Lodge Moor bus terminus on Redmires Road, a 10 minute walk from the nature reserve.

  Step 2: Follow the path on the right towards the edge of the brook, sticking to the left of the water. The first bit can be very muddy!

• 

  Step 3: Look up across the stream and you’ll see mossy crags high above.
