Woburn Abbey Deer Park Loop

  Step 1: Park at the (free!) car park opposite Woburn Church and follow the public footpath through the woods, past some houses on the right.

• 

  Step 2: The cattle grid is the beginning of the deer park loop. Use the gate and begin walking straight on, towards the wooden security gates.

• 

  Step 3: At the security gates, you’ll see a house on the left with a moat. Follow the yellow topped posts to begin walking straight across the park.

• 

  Step 4: Begin a slight ascent up the hill and across the park land. The public footpath runs parallel with the road to the left.

• 

  Step 5: Check out the Woburn Park Airfield memorial on your right, just before you begin the slight climb up the hill.

• 

  Step 6: At the top of the hill, turn right to follow the access road towards the Abbey. Just beware of cars coming from behind you.
