  Step 1: Start outside Monksdale Road Allotments

• 

  Step 2: If you are on foot you can walk through this gate into the park to avoid the road side but there are steps making it unsuitable for wheels

• 

  Step 3: Cross the road turning right at the end of the park to walk up this footpath

• 

  Step 4: At the top of the slope turn left to make a hairpin bend onto the main path. This is a shared use path so look out for cyclists.

• 

  Step 5: Cross the bridge and take in the views

• 

  Step 6: Keep going straight down the path. Take your time to watch the changing seasons and listen for garden birds
