Step 1: Park here. It’s not dog-friendly in the summer.
Step 2: The noisy lobster cafe is here alongside other great beach amenities. There’s a coffee shop, fish and chips and a local newsagent that sells beach gear.
Step 3: There’s plenty of sand for kids to play in or to walk along.
Step 4: Great for marble runs and massive sandcastles.
Step 5: The sea is also quite calm here so great for paddling, canoeing or jumping on a dingy. Look out for the lifeguard station.
Step 6: You can walk along the beach to the end and back. Admire the beach huts, the colours are pretty cool. Dogs are welcome in winter.
