• 

  Step 1: Starting from Watersinks NT Car Park, cross the road and follow signs to Malham Cove along the Pennine Way

• 

  Step 2: Keep following the Pennine way as it drops down through the limestone gorge.

• 

  Step 3: Follow the bend around the hill and you’ll reach a stile. Take the first stile (you’ll bend back on yourself) as it takes you to the cove

• 

  Step 4: You’ll cross over some fields and a stone stile. There’s a left fork to take you to Gorsdale Scar, but continue ahead to the cove

• 

  Step 5: Cross the cove to the opposite side and you’ll pick up the Pennine way. These are steps all the way down to the bottom

• 

  Step 6: It takes a few mins to descend. Steps are easygoing but can get busy in summer
