• 

  Step 1: Warleggan to Pantersbridge via the old green lanes of Garlands Lane and Newland Hill.

• Step 2: Start from St. Bartholomew's Church at Warleggan. With the church behind you, take a narrow walled path to your left. This path isn't marked on the Go Jauntly map but is definitely there.

• Step 3: You emerge from the walled path onto a grassy raised area. Head very slightly right, off the grassy area and cross the road. Turn slightly right to walk downhill past Primrose Cottage on your left.

• Step 4: Turn left to find an unmarked gate to a lane between Cornish hedges. The lane leads downhill below the field level on either side. This is Garland Lane and is rocky, uneven and can be slippery.

• Step 5: Garlands Lane leads down to the Dewy river and linked the medieval manor of Warleggan to the (now ruined) mill on the Dewy.

• Step 6: The lane takes a couple of sharp bends marking the end of the most uneven section of the lane.
