Step 1: This walk starts at the South Hill barn in Seaford (BN25 4JQ). Nearest train station is in Seaford. Brewster coffee van is onsite 10am-4pm.
Step 2: During the ‘Walk the Chalk’ festival (20th - 24th Sept 2023), this walk is being made fully accessible via mobility scooter aids. Two existing stiles will be replaced with gates after which they will be put back.
Step 3: During the festival, this route will showcase six incredible temporary artist installations developed with local schools and community groups. These artworks will remain in this walk online so you can enjoy them virtually.
Step 4: Please note that there are grazing animals in the field opposite the South Hill barn so please keep dogs on a lead. The paths may be muddy in wet or wintry weather and there are some steep sections.
Step 5: Start the walk outside South Hill barn. Facing the sea, head to the grass clearing to the right of the barn and in front of the car park.
Step 6: Looking ahead, there is an entrance to the field with grazing sheep. It’s normally a stile and during the festival it will be a gate.
